Dawson Community College Gallery 126 is pleased to announce Ex Meus Perspective an exhibit of paintings by artist Tom Shoush. There will be an Artist’s Reception for Shoush on Tuesday, October 13th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. This gathering is free and open to the public. Friday, May 1st, there will be an artist reception for Amanda Breitbach in the Dawson Community College Art Gallery 126 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM with an artist talk at 6:30. This gathering is free and open to the public. Please join us for a viewing of Amanda’s photographs, for conversation, and refreshments. Amanda’s new series Roosts is on exhibit from April 27 – June 26.
The Dawson Community College Opus Society is currently seeking contestants for Dawson Idol 2 to be held April 29 and May 5 at the DCC Auditorium on campus. This is the second year for the event and promises to present some of the best musical talent in eastern Montana. Admission is $5 and buys you a vote in the judging.

What's Inside? is on display now at the Dawson Community College Art Gallery 126 through Friday, February 27th. The exhibition showcases two good friends, Ali LaRock and Gretchen Bederman. These two accomplished artists make for an interesting juxtaposition of images. Ali's paintings are filled with childlike scribbles of emotion and question while Gretchen's are superficial with only a subtle intimation of what might be going on behind the image.
Just for the fun of it, the Dawson Community College Art Department and Art Club - SOCI are sponsoring Fridays in February - End of the Week ART Outlet with guest instructor, Kevin Layton, Education Director for the Custer County Art & Heritage Center in Miles City.
