The DCC softball team placed 4th at the 2005 NJCAA Division III World Series tournament in Horseheads, NY. This was the DCC teams 5th straight appearance at the National Tournament.

Women’s fast pitch softball has moved up to Division I this year which will put them into conference play for the very first time. Having a home and away conferene schedule will be a great addition to the program. Their travels take them to Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota and Minnesota. The past five seasons they have won their Regional Tournament and advanced to the NJCAA Division III World Series, where they placed 3rd, 4th, 5th, 5th and 4th respectively.
