Aaron Carroll

About Coach Carroll:

Aaron Carroll will become head coach of the Buccaneer baseball program fall 2011. Coach Carroll brings ten years of baseball collegiate coaching experience to DCC. He spent the last seven years as head coach of Chowan University which is a NCAA Division III program in Murfreesboro, NC. His career record is 279-225-2.

Before his decision to accept the position at DCC, Carroll led Chowan to a 29-14 overall record in the regular season, the most wins the program has had since the 2008 campaign. Carroll's Hawks earned the top seed in the CIAA tournament after compiling a 25-3 conference record. Chowan finished the year with a 30-16 record. Carroll was named 2011 CIAA Coach of the Year at the end of April.

Coach Carroll has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and a Master's of Science degree in Sports Management.
