Seven teams from Glendive and one from Wolf Point competed for prizes donated by local business in the Toepke Center Gymnasium. Opportunity to “Add a Name”

Deadline May 7th, 2010

Dawson Community College is once again adding honor and memorial names to the hardwood floor of the Toepke Center Gymnasium. Names will be printed in 1 inch letters around the main court for a $200 per name donation. Honoring a friend or relative in this way is a unique tribute and a lasting legacy that lends support to all Buccaneer athletic programs.

DCC's Jordan Brady-on brink of NBA

Jordan Brady wasn't heavily recruited out of high school where he was a first-team all-state selection.

From time to time around the water cooler the topic comes up about what happens to the kids who travel through Glendive with a pit stop for sports at Dawson Community College and whether their experience preps them for their future...and from time to time we hear from former Buccaneers about why it was an important step in the career.  We have another one of those stories for you.

Basketball theme games planned

DCC Basketball is headed back to the ‘70s with the first of several themed games for the season! Polyester leisure suits, bell bottom pants and platform shoes will be back in fashion as DCC hosts the United Tribes Technical College in Mon-Dak basketball action on Saturday the 12th of December.

Bucs finish tournament with wins

The Bucs’ Mike Chinn led all scorers with 18 points.

After losing their opener at the Mon-Dak preseason tournament in Williston, the Dawson Community College men’s basketball team finished the tourney with two wins. On Friday, the Bucs defeated Dakota State by the final of 86 to 73. Saturday DCC knocked off Bismarck State College 68 to 66.

Against Dakota State the Buccaneers opened up a 48-37 halftime lead on their way to the 13-point win.
