Kim Crone
About Coach LeProwse:
LeProwse brings with him more than 15 years of coaching experience in softball, baseball, football and track. Most notably, he has spent three years developing, building and coaching the Montana Tech fast pitch program, a club team that has successfully competed against club and intercollegiate teams across the region.
The 2011 Lady Bucs finished with an 11-20 record and look to improve on that during the 2012 season. LeProwse has recruited a very talented group for the upcoming season and is excited to see what they can do.
In addition to his head coaching duties, LeProwse will continue teaching in the Welding Technology program. DCC offers a 1-year Certificate of Applied Science in Welding and also offers a 2-year Associate of Applied Science degree in Welding Technology.
About Assistant Coach Crone:
Kim Crone was born in Cannon Falls, Minnesota and graduated from Cannon Falls High School in 2005. During high school she played with the Cannon Falls Bombers and within the summer league for Northfield High School. During her high school career she achieved a batting avg .209, 18 hits, 10 rbi, and 3 stolen bases.
After high school, she attended Dakota County Technical College where she played softball with the Blue Knights. In 2007, she received her Associates of Science degree in Exercise & Sport Science and went on to St. Catherine University to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise & Sport Science in Spring of 2010.
She served as catching coach at Cannon Falls High School for grades 7-12, from 2006 to 2010 seasons and assistant varsity and JV coach for 2010
June 2010 Crone moved to Glendive and became the Assistant Women's Softball Coach at Dawson Community in 2010.
