Alissa Keeler signed her National Letter of Intent with Lady Bucs softball this week. The Bucs recently won the Region IX Championship under the guidance of Dawson Community College coach Jim LeProwse. Keeler is herself a 3 time Montana class AA first team All - Conference and 3 time first team All-State player.
The softball game played in Columbus, NE, Monday May 6, resulted in a win and a first-time REGION IX CHAMPIONSHIP for the Dawson Community College Lady Buccaneers.

Quincy Gundersen from Washington State and Haley Swan from Montana have decided to continue their softball careers at Dawson Community College in Glendive Montana. Head Softball Coach Jim LeProwse is pleased to announce the new Lady Bucs. They will join the DCC Buccaneer program for the 2013-2014 season.
Quincy Gundersen attends Burlington Edison High School in Bow, Washington. She is a right-handed outfielder for the Tigers who achieved 1st Team All Skagit County, 1st Team Northwest Conference.
Dawson Community College softball coach Jim LeProwse announced two new members to the Buccaneer program, Jackie Thomas from Billings, Montana and Sarah Trammell from Goodyear, Arizona.
Jackie Thomas is a right-handed short stop who stands 5' 6". Her accomplishments include Montana Class AA first team all - conference and first team All-State player for the Billings Senior High School, Broncs.

The Buccaneer Women's Softball Team is having a fundraiser. They will be selling DCC softball shirts that read "Second Base Matters" with the DCC Buc logo on bottom. The t-shirts are white with pink and black writing.
