Photographs taken by talented photographers were on display in the Main Building Hallway Gallery at DCC from April 15 through May 6.
This years Jurors included President Jane Baker, Dean Joyce Ayre, and Extended Learning Director MaryAnn Vester. They chose winners for seven categories.
Gretchen Bederman, Art Instructor at Dawson Community College is proud to announce the winners of the Annual 2013 Spring Juried Student Art Show. The artwork was on display in the Main Hallway Gallery through May 6.
Jurors for the Spring show were DCC staff members Deb Vogel, Virginia Boysun and Laura Quale. The show encompassed artwork in many mediums and required careful review by the judges.

The Dawson Community College Art Department is proud to present the outstanding art works of the talented and creative student artists of Dawson Community College. Forty-one students will be exhibiting their artwork in the Dawson Community College 2013 Annual Spring Juried Student Art Show.
Dawson Community College art students are getting creative in the great outdoors of Eastern Montana. Gretchen Bederman's Foundations of Art students fired their raku glazed self portrait masks Tuesday April 16 with Jordan Pehler and his traveling raku kiln. Pehler is the Education Director and artist-in-residence at the Miles City Waterworks Museum. See students' finished masks in the Annual Spring Student Art Show opening on Monday, April 22.

Dawson Community College art students with a passion for art will exhibit their artwork during the month of March at The Gallery in downtown Glendive Montana. In addition, Jane Hart of Billings will have her popular rustic welded metal sculpture on display.
Please join us for the artists reception on Sunday, March 3 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come meet the artists, enjoy the artwork, conversation, and refreshments. We hope that you will come and support the arts, as well as Dawson Community College’s budding artists.
“Nest”, a mezzotint by Serbian printmaker Snezana Petrovic is one of the works included in the “International Mezzotint Exchange Exhibition” installed in Dawson Community College Gallery 126 from March 25 through May 9. Twenty-four mezzotint images, created by twenty-four artists from ten countries, are included in the exhibition. The artists are all members of the International Mezzotint Society (I.M.S.) and participated in the 2011 membership print exchange. Each printmaker created a handmade mezzotint edition of twenty-five prints exchangin
Screen printing demystified. Visiting artist Linda Olson explains screen printing techniques to a full class during the February 9 workshop. Each participant had the opportunity to experience the complete printing process from stretching the screen, to applying, fixing, and printing multiples their original designs on both fabric and paper.

Dawson Community College Gallery 126 is pleased to present "Linda A. Olson, M.F.A. untitled plethora" celadon vessels, serigraphs, and rock art documentation in photographs and drawings by Linda Olson on exhibit from February 8 - March 15. The Opening will take place on Friday, February 8 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
