Montana Campus Corps at Dawson organized a Thanksgiving Day Run, Second Annual Bucky's Turkey Trot. This year saw 80 runners, the youngest just 6 and oldest 71. There were mother/daughter running groups, sisters, brothers running together and the Phinney's came in force with six members. We had runners from all over Montana, North Dakota, Wyoming, Utah even one runner from San Francisco, CA. We hope this becomes a family tradition for many residents in Glendive. The run raised nearly $2,000 before expenses and 600 lbs of food.

Undergraduate Transfer Scholarships
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship honors excellence by supporting outstanding community college students with financial need to transfer to and complete their bachelor’s degrees at the nation’s top four-year colleges and universities.

Tradition will be the theme for the 20th Annual Dawson Community College Madrigal Dinner. Old favorites, as well as new traditions will await guests December 3 at Toepke Center on the DCC campus. The castle doors open at 5 p.m. to a Renaissance Fair of local crafters and vendors with feasting and festivities commencing at 6.

Dawson Community College Theater Department will present a true turn of the century murder mystery entitled: 'Frontier Justice 1898', written by John M. Watkins Ed.D. and directed by Ron Conrad. This play is a unique Glendive historical drama about one of the most fearless officers in the state of Montana-Sheriff Dominick Cavanaugh.
