DCC hosts 11th Montana GEAR UP Camp

The 7 day GEAR UP camp at Dawson is designed to give 7th and 8th grade students a sample of college life.

Dawson Community College will host the 11th annual Montana GEAR UP camp (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) from June 20th to the 26th.

For many children, the likelihood of attending and succeeding in college is small. Too many students face seemingly insurmountable barriers, including low expectations, inadequate academic preparation and a lack of information about education options and opportunities.

College needs Host Families for fall 2010

DCC’s international student population has increased recently joining our campus community.

Looking ahead to the fall semester, Dawson Community College is searching for Glendive residents who would like to provide a "home away from home" experience for Dawson's international students.

Web access worldwide has made Glendive a less isolated educational destination for college age students from other countries. DCC’s international student population has increased recently, with more students joining our campus community for academic and athletic opportunities.
