Students develop entry-level knowledge, skills, aptitudes and experiences in agricultural business, science and production. The curriculum in Agribusiness Technology will give the student the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge, skills, attitudes and practical experiences for entry-level employment or self-employment in: • Soils management; plant growth and reproduction; field crop production, marketing and management; range management; horticulture; and natural resource management • Selection, breeding and rearing of commercially important species of livestock; animal nutrition; health and care; and profitable marketing and management of livestock • Agriculture management, marketing and economic principles; business and financial planning, including leasing, credit, depreciation and machinery economics |
