DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARDS
The following criteria is to be followed in nominating a candidate for a Distinguished Service Award:
1. Nominations for a Distinguished Service Award are to be submitted to the College
President for consideration and documentation. If approval is granted at this level, the
nomination will be submitted to the Board of Trustees for final approval. To protect the
privacy of the nominee, the Board will act in executive session.
2. If the Board of Trustees approves the nomination, the President will then notify the
Board of Regents.
SCOPE These procedures apply to Dawson Community College.
