REPORTS TO: Assistant Vice President of Instruction and Student Services (TBA)

SALARY: Grade 12, $ 33,066.59 annually, $15.90 hourly. (partially grant-funded)

SUMMARY OF WORK:

The Workforce Navigator/Grants Specialist manages grants and other external funding projects that include training of the workforce and technical education. The Workforce Navigator/Grants Specialist will be responsible for institutional research within the college. Under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President of Instruction & Student Services, the Workforce Navigator will establish partnerships between the students in technical programs and the area workforce.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in counseling, training or job placement.
  • Experience working with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
  • Grant management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Experience in Workforce Training
  • Experience in Institutional Research, Statistics or related field
  • Knowledge of Banner or related software system
