Web Page Design is a course appropriate for any student interested in creating, changing, maintaining and publishing a website. All components of a website will be covered throughout this course. Several different methods for creating a website will be covered, including using a CMS (Content Management System) and using Expression Web. The final project for this course is a student designed and created Web site. Students will be required to publish their sites with a web hosting company so that they will be accessible on the Internet. It is required that students have successfully completed CA 109 or an equivalent DCC computer course and are proficient with a modern operating system, such as Mac OSX, Linux, or Windows.
