Authentic enrichment opportunities for mature learners

As they have for decades, the Greatest Generation and Baby Boomers now approaching traditional retirement age want to define life after 50 on their own terms. They want to stay active and involved and many want to continue to work. The Plus 50 program is designed to do exactly that. It can bring new meaning to your retirement and it might even change your life.

DCC has partnered with several state and national parks, and historic sites to offer this day excursion package. If you are interested in becoming an active Plus50 learner we encourage you to participate in this unique experience. Get an insider's view of park of employment and volunteer opportunities.
Schedule of events:

The program includes:

• an extraordinary 'inside the parks' learning opportunity with optional college credit
• an opportunity to discover employment and volunteer opportunities
• interaction with park superintendents and staff
• presentations about the history of the site
• transportation to and from each site
• lunch, and much more

Cost: 6 sessions = $200 per person or $150 for Senior Academy Members!
