Provide a unique blend of instruction, friendship, and leadership to campers. Teach exciting lessons in the outdoors, play games, explain and demonstrate what it means to be resilient. Be able to believe in the individuality of each girl camper. Focus on safety of campers and staff. Performs the required duties within their assigned unit and leads activities during their assigned periods. Plans, carries out and evaluates activities, while helping campers develop appreciation and enjoyment for the great out-of- doors. This position helps each camper in her unit to understand and live up to the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Be a supportive contributing member of the total camp community. Embrace the responsibility of impact that will be made to the lives of the campers, other staff, and your own. This
position is most often referred to as the ‘Heart and Soul of Camp’ so be prepared to change lives…. including your own.

Qualifications: 
Minimum 18 years of age or high school graduate. Experience working with youth preferred.

How to Apply: 
The Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming offer three summer camp locations: Red Lodge and Butte, Montana and Casper, Wyoming. We currently have multiple positions located at these camps and would love to offer college students the opportunity to work with us at one or possibly more than one or our locations. The camp season will begin June 17, 2012 and end on August 12, 2012. All positions are paid not volunteer.
