The firm primarily serves the mining industry and the Athabasca Oils Sands region from its administrative office in Calgary and office, soils and concrete laboratory in Fort McMurray.

Terracon is currently seeking candidates for a Civil Technologist

Civil Technologist Role

The work schedule includes a rotational schedule of days and nights; 10- 12 hour days.

Responsibilities
• Soils engineering and soils testing
• Drill monitoring and construction monitoring
• QA/QC monitoring techniques
• Piling inspections
• Site investigations and concrete testing.

Working Conditions
• Field environment
• Driving on mine roads
• Rotational schedule of being on-call
• Working outdoors
• Valid driver’s license
• Operating an All Terrain Vehicle
