This position develops and maintains reports, and database management systems for campus entities using the University Enterprise Management and ancillary systems. This position requires constant research and evaluation of new software database and reporting systems. The primary role of the Institutional Research/Programmer Analyst is to provide accurate and timely data analysts and dissemination to fulfill internal requirements and requests. This position requires constant research and evaluation of new software database and reporting systems and works with the Institutional Research Manager on all assignments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, IT or related field or any equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated experience problem solving with an IT organization
Development and use of data reports or statistical analysis reports
Must possess a record of creative problem solving in professional information technology settings
Demonstrated knowledge of database applications and reporting solutions
Demonstrated ability to maintain an awareness of in-depth knowledge of current technology
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the individuals who have a wide range of technical abilities
Must possess a record of creative problem solving in professional information technology settings
Wage:
$16.36 per hour plus benefits
