Emily Prouty, a senior at Harvey High School in Harvey, ND has signed a national letter of intent to join the Dawson Community College Buccaneer golf team next year. Emily is a four time state qualifier in the North Dakota Class B Girls Golf Tournament, with two top-twenty finishes to her credit. “Emily brings a great work ethic and vitality to our program,” said Coach Rowlett.
Jenni Zuehlsdorff, a second addition for the 2009-10 Bucs season, “is a high energy girl who will be a terrific asset to our program on and off the course,” remarked Rowlett. Jenni is a senior golfer at Colstrip High School in Colstrip, MT. She is a 2 time state qualifier in the Class B Girls Montana Golf Tournament.
Coach Rowlett’s third and most recent letter of intent was signed by Lakota Warden, from Browning, MT. Warden is a senior at Browning High School in Browning, Montana. He is a three time state qualifier, including a 6th place finish in the 2008 A State Tournament.
“I feel these 3 student athletes will contribute right away to our golf program and help it continue to grow. I am excited that they have chosen to be a part of the Buccaneer golf program at Dawson Community College,” said Coach Rowlett.
