A high school spiker's camp is set to run June 30 and July 2 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Toepke Center. Also, an all-skill high school camp is scheduled for July 29-31 at the Toepke Center with individual skills camp in the mornings from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Team camp will run the same days in the afternoons. Individual skills camp costs $85 per player and team camp is $250 per team.
Buccaneer Volleyball Coach John Marble and staff will facilitate each camp. He said players can look forward to learning new skills and developing existing skills while growing to understand the game better in preparation for the fall competitive school season. "Camp is a way to dive into the game in a competitive learning environment," he said. Brochures can be downloaded from the DCC volleyball site at www.dawson.edu/category/athletics/volleyball.
