Dawson is authorized by the Montana Department of Public Instruction to administer the General Education Development (GED) test. GED testing policies for the state of Montana enable adults who are a minimum of 17 years of age or whose high school class has graduated and who have not graduated from high school to earn a high school credential (GED). All documentation of eligibility for testing must be presented at the testing site prior to testing. A waiver of minimum age requirement may be obtained under special and warranted circumstances and must be reviewed and approved by the state GED administrator’s office prior to testing.
