Play and Art Therapy workshop

The Early Childhood Education Department at Dawson Community College will present a workshop on Play and Art Therapy, September 26, 2009, in Room 105 at the Ullman Center. Gregory Holler-Dinsmore will conduct the workshop. 

Gregory Holler-Dinsmore, M.Div., M.S., LCPPC is pastor at the First Lutheran Church in Wolf Point, on the adjunct faculty at Fort Peck Community College, and a private practice licensed professional counselor. He’s a member of the American Counseling Association, the Association for Play Therapy, and Sandplay Therapists of America. 

Play and Art Therapy will be a 6.5 hour workshop, 8:30-4:00, with a one hour break for lunch, which will be provided. The workshop will cover play therapy, sand-tray work, and art therapy. Following the morning presentation, there will be some hands-on time in the afternoon. 

This workshop is open to the public and would be especially applicable for those in the early childhood field. Six and a half Early Childhood Project training hours are available or .5 college credit is possible (at no extra charge.) The registration fee is $10, including lunch.
