Starting Monday February 22 Instructor Kristin Aus will begin Excel in Agriculture, a business department course, at Dawson Community College. This course, designed by Aus, will build confidence as farmers and ranchers use Microsoft Excel 2007 software and increase their understanding of the business management aspects of their agricultural operation.

• This course will include these topics:
• Preparation of a cash flow budget or partial budget projection using common farm mathematics
• Calculation of basic financial analysis ratios and percentages
• Building and Excel list and use of the Pivot Table function to analyze data
