During the artists reception Wednesday, December 8th 11 awards were given out by Gretchen Bederman, head of the Visual Arts Department at DCC. Judges for the Fall competition were Shane Bishop, Marilyn Dutton, and Jordan Kirschenmann.

Rebecca Forest of Beach North Dakota proved to be a favorite winning not only the People's Choice award but also the DCC Student Datebook Cover (a yearly high quality 4-color publication for students) and Best of Painting.
