The Lady Bucs Volleyball team served up a winner Monday night. They prepared and served the weekly meal for the community supper. Working in conjunction with the Dawson County Food Bank and the Assembly of God Church, the players prepared a complete meal. Using a family recipe, the team made Taco Soup, green salad and dinner rolls. This was all topped off with cookies and brownies for dessert.
About 40 individuals enjoyed the meal and the players had requests for the recipe. "The Glendive community is so incredibly supportive of our program, this is just a small token of how we can reach out and give back," said Coach John Marble.
Each member of the team serves in the community in many ways. Players volunteer at campus and community events frequently, mentor middle school students, read in the elementary schools, and coach youth volleyball camps, clinics, and clubs.
