Montana Campus Compact (MTCC) will award a $639,583 grant to support its well-liked, statewide Campus Corps program that benefits more than 800 college students across the state.

Dawson Community College is one of 19 colleges and universities set to receive a portion of this renewed support during 2011-12 for its student volunteers. Students choosing to enroll in MTCC Campus Corps will become a visible part of the Glendive community, addressing community needs and building capacity for nonprofit agencies. As a result student volunteers receive education awards to help them with their college expense and the satisfaction of a hands-on charitable work experience.

Other Colleges with  students participating in MTCC Campus Corps are: Blackfeet Community College, Carroll College, Flathead Valley Community College, Fort Belknap College, Fort Peck Community College, Little Big Horn College, Miles Community College, Montana State University-Billings, Montana State University-Bozeman, Montana State University-Northern, Montana State University-Great Falls, Montana Tech of UM, Rocky Mountain College, Salish Kootenai College, The University of Montana-Missoula, The University of Montana-Western, The University of Montana-Helena , University of Great Falls.
