AARP’s (American Association of Retired Persons) Defensive Driving Course will once again offer a comprehensive driver retraining course geared to the specific needs of older motorists.
The AARP Driver Safety Program is the nation's first and largest course for drivers age 50 and older. The program has helped millions of drivers protect their safety on today's roads.
Tune up your driving skills and update your knowledge of the rules of the road. Learn defensive driving techniques. Discover ways to handle left turns, right-of-way, highway traffic and blind spots.
Attending may qualify participants for a discount on auto insurance, check with your insurance company for details.
The class takes place at Dawson Community College, Thursday November 15 from 10am-3pm in Room 123, located across the hall from the Student Services office in the Main Building.
Payment for the four hour class is non refundable unless class is canceled due to weather or lack of enrollment. Cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. Check or money order may be made payable to AARP and sent along with enrollment form to Dawson Community College, Box 421 Glendive MT 59330.
