Early childhood educators represent many roles -- teaching staff, program administrators, students, researchers and teacher educators. In its 10th year the "For the LUV of Children" Conference builds on a tradition of providing access to the latest ideas for Early Childhood Education professionals in Eastern Montana.

In the morning early childhood teachers discuss how they can support cultural competence by enhancing their circle time routine through shared and diagnostic reading called Interactive Read-A-Louds. Guest speaker, Nanci Moreland, M.ED., from the University of Montana will present "Increasing Cultural Competence through Interactive Read-A-Louds" from 9am-Noon *Approved - 3hrs ECP training.
In the afternoon, participants should come dressed to play as Rebecca Kreilaus, "YogaFit" Instructor, engages conference goers in a hands-on learning experience. Rebecca will demonstrate the use of yoga as a tool to create a unique and engaging learning environment that develops students' mental, physical and emotional wellness from 1:15pm-3:15pm. *Approved - 2hrs ECP training.
