The Buccaneer volleyball team is hosting a “Dig Pink” night during its 7 p.m. match against Sheridan College at home in Toepke Center on Tuesday, Oct. 9, to promote breast cancer awareness and raise money for research.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink to support the “Dig Pink” initiative. “This is a great event to raise awareness for breast cancer. Each year millions of dollars are raised by volleyball teams around the nation. We are honored to be part of this movement.” said Head Coach John Marble.
The Lady Bucs are playing in honor of all breast cancer survivors and for those who are currently battling breast cancer in the crowd. For more information about the “Dig Pink” night, contact Coach John Marble [email protected].
