The well-regarded Jane Carey still looks over her library from a gilded frame.

Todd Knispel, Library Director for the Dawson Community College - Jane Carey Memorial Library is pleased to announce two donations to the Library.

TransCanada Corporation, who is proposing to construct the Keystone XL Pipeline in Montana, recently gave the Jane Carey Memorial Library a generous $6,000 dollar grant through their Community Investment initiative which has allowed Jane Carey Memorial Library to modernize the computer area in  the Library.

In addition, the late Emmet Carey, Jane Carey's husband, donated $1,900 dollars to the college Library. "His thoughtful donation will allow the Library to update some of its audio-visual and electronic equipment" said Knispel. "These two wonderful gifts to Jane Carey Memorial Library will allow the Library to better serve its students and community. The public is always encouraged to use the Library at Dawson Community College, see its improvements, and enjoy its beautiful view.

Library hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Tuesday through Thursday evenings 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m.
