The Dawson Community College Introduction to Dinosaur Paleontology class and lab will be held July 22-August 2. The maximum enrollment for the class is 20 students. Geoscience instructor Alan Brown is providing a 4 credit class for a great value. A university class like this one would cost double. The Dinosaur Paleontology class has no prerequisite so anyone can register. It is a great opportunity for high school students or anyone to get 4 transferable college credits completed this summer in a fun hands-on environment. Plus the class coming to us.

All evening women's Summer league games will be played at Dawson Community College in the Toepke and Old Gyms from 5:50 p.m.-8:50 p.m.

Gerry Standridge, Dawson Community College head coach, has announced that Taylor Jensen signed a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball for the Buccaneers during the 2013 season. Jensen, from Lewistown Montana, played OH all four years at Fergus High School for Coach Tara Taylor and was an active member of her track team, competing in sprints and hurdles. In addition to high school volleyball, she also played for the Lewistown Volleyball Club.

A recent Dawson County High School volleyball player has signed to play for the DCC Lady Buccaneers Volleyball team. 

Kasey Robson is transferring from a DII collegiate track program and was a multiple sport athlete in high school.  "She is a strong all around athlete with excellent court awareness and brings a positive presence to the court. Her experience playing all the front court positions along with her athleticism will give us more offensive options against our opponents," states Coach Strandridge.
