The Dawson Community College baseball team won the final four games of its recent 10-game road trip. The spring trip began in Idaho on the 14th with a pair of games against the College of Southern Idaho. From there, the Bucs moved down to Utah for games against four different schools from Utah.

Please take a couple of minutes to send an email out to the state legislators listed below. If the budget cuts continue on as planned it will mean fewer programs along with higher costs for your education. So let's rally for our college!

Dawson Community College will host the 12th Annual Shaping the Future Conference for educators April 15 and 16. "This year's Shaping the Future Conference covers new uses and better safety for computer and cell phone users" said Brenda Stockert, Director of the Early Childhood Education Program at DCC. "Friday we will also have a special session for Head Start and another for early childhood professionals all day Saturday."

Dawson Community College Buccaneers baseball coach Brent Diegel is pleased to announce that Ethan Jones has signed a national letter of intent for the upcoming 2011-2012 season. From Brigham City, Utah Jones stands 5-11 and weighs in at 180 pounds. This season, Jones played catcher for the Box Elder High School, Bees. The right hander batted .370, posted 25 RBI's, had 11 home runs in summer ball, and was a member of the 1st Team All-Region. According to Coach Diegel, “Ethan comes from a strong baseball program.
