Dawson Community College is presenting a hybrid business skills class entitled ‘Graphics in MS Word & Newsletters’ from March 16th to April 5th. Marcia Holas, DCC Business Technology Program Director, will instruct the one credit class. Unique to this opportunity is that students will attend each classroom presentation at their personal computer via the Internet. To increase flexibility Holas will offer students two choices, Tuesdays at noon or Thursdays at 7pm to receive live instruction.

Keith Robinson, President of Stockman Bank, presented Dawson Community College a check for ten thousand dollars to establish the Stockman Bank Endowed Scholarship Fund. The Dawson College Foundation will administer the fund and award a $500 annual scholarship to a Dawson Community College student studying in an agricultural-related field. “Stockman Bank has been a long-time friend and supporter of the college. We gratefully acknowledge this generous donation and appreciate Stockman for creating a permanently endowed fund for Montana students now and in the future,” says Dr.

The MDU Resources Foundation and its member companies, MDU Utilities Group, Knife River Corporation, WBI Holdings, Inc. and MDU Construction Services Group awarded a five thousand dollar grant for improvements to the wellness facilities in the Toepke Center at Dawson Community College.

Starting Monday February 22 Instructor Kristin Aus will begin Excel in Agriculture, a business department course, at Dawson Community College. This course, designed by Aus, will build confidence as farmers and ranchers use Microsoft Excel 2007 software and increase their understanding of the business management aspects of their agricultural operation.
