Coach Carroll 300th Win

The “Reopening of Kolberg Field” ceremony was held on Saturday, April 6th, 2013.  The Dawson Community College Baseball team defeated Dakota College of Bottineau three out of four games this weekend.  Scores were as follows: Dakota College 6/DCC 4, DCC 10/Dakota 4, DCC 15/Dakota 6, and DCC 11/ Dakota 9.

Reopening of Kolberg Field

Saturday, April 6th Dawson Community College will be hosting Dakota College-Bottineau here on campus for a double header.  The Buccaneers would like to invite you out to the ballgame and celebrate the "Reopening of Kolberg Field."

The Bucs haven't been able to play on the field for two years, but the field is now ready for action.

In celebration, we will have Gordon Kolberg throw out the first pitch for Saturday's game and recognize several individuals who have made it all possible.

4th Annual Bucs & Bunnies Coed Easter Basketball Tournament

Dawson Community College will be hosting the 4th Annual Bucs & Bunnies Coed Easter Basketball Tournament.

Friday & Saturday, March 29-30 at the Toepke Center Gym in Glendive, MT.

LeProwse adds Bucs to DCC Squad

Dawson Community College softball coach Jim LeProwse announced two new members to the Buccaneer program, Jackie Thomas from Billings, Montana and Sarah Trammell from Goodyear, Arizona.

Jackie Thomas is a right-handed short stop who stands 5' 6". Her accomplishments include Montana Class AA first team all - conference and first team All-State player for the Billings Senior High School, Broncs.

Dr. Michael Booker and DCC get “Kudos”

Pastor Pete Bruno facilitated the creation-evolution debate on Feb. 24.

Pastor Pete Bruno facilitated the creation-evolution debate on Feb. 24 at Dawson Community College. Over 190 people arrived to watch the hour and a half debate. There was so much interest in the event spectators were moved from the Ullman Center lecture hall to the Toepke Center Auditorium.  Bruno said he was pleased with the turn out.

Mr. Darrin Clinton from the Creation Museum and Dr. Michael Booker, DCC History Professor, engaged in a lively debate over the two points of view.

Regional Mental Health Summit March 14

You are invited to attend the Regional Mental Health Summit, hosted in Glendive Montana at Dawson Community College. As communities in Eastern Montana expand, so does the need for collaboration and networking. Please join your local health department as they engage in discussion regarding asset mapping, identifying gaps within the region, and develop a plan to meet these needs.

DCC Art Students featured at DCAU

Join us downtown at The Gallery for the artists reception on Sunday, March 3 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Dawson Community College art students with a passion for art will exhibit their artwork during the month of March at The Gallery in downtown Glendive Montana. In addition, Jane Hart of Billings will have her popular rustic welded metal sculpture on display.

Please join us for the artists reception on Sunday, March 3 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come meet the artists, enjoy the artwork, conversation, and refreshments.  We hope that you will come and support the arts, as well as Dawson Community College’s budding artists.
