The All-Conference softball team for the Mon-Dak was recently announced with three players from DCC making the team. They were Jenni Pehler, Jenna Will, and Allison Roper. Congratulations DCC Softball on a great season.

Registration is under way for the Dawson Community College Buccaneer Basketball Skills Camps that will be held July 5th-6th on the DCC campus.
Middle School Camp
Coach Marble and his staff will give hands-on training in all the basics of volleyball for middle school players. Middle school camp is set for July 26-27 at the DCC Toepke Center gym from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a one-hour break at noon. Cost is $65 and includes a t-shirt.
Dawson Community College president Dr. Jim Cargill addressed the Agriculture Leadership Class of 2010 at their graduation May 5th. His remarks centered on the role the college can play in Richland County as officials look forward to implementing programs there.
Dawson Community College is partnering with BEAR (Business Expansion And Retention) and SBDC (Small Business Development Center to facilitate the Incumbent Worker Training Program. Based on the success of the two-year pilot program approved by the 2007 Legislature, this program will provide job training funds for small businesses to re-train workers to meet changing market demands.
Gretchen Bederman, Visual Arts Department Director, is pleased to announce the winners of the Dawson Community College Annual Spring Juried Student Art Show. In its fourth season the show is one of two during the academic year. Jurors included Librarian-Todd Knispel, Student Services Administrative Assistant-Teresa Schulte, and English Instructor Joe Drivdahl.
