Head coach John Marble is proud to announce Christina Johnson from Great Falls MT has signed a national Letter of Intent to play for the Buccaneer volleyball program at Dawson Community College in 2012.

The Opus Society is currently seeking contestants for Dawson Idol to be held March 30 at the Dawson Community College Auditorium. This is the third year for the event and promises to present some of the best vocal musical talent in eastern Montana. Title of Dawson Idol will be determined by the contestant receiving the greatest audience and judge support. The audience vote will contribute half of the final decision. Members of the judge’s panel are chosen from past music department alumni and active members of the surrounding music community.
As many of you know, there are numerous students at Dawson Community College who are bursting with artistic potential. Well, now you have the opportunity to see some of their artwork. The DCC Art Club’s members as well as other students with a passion for the arts are contributing some of their work to a show at The Gallery in downtown Glendive.
Head coach John Marble is pleased to announce the addition of two new recruits to the fall 2012 Dawson Community College Volleyball squad. KC Duvall and Jessica Davis have committed to play next season suiting up with the Lady Bucs.
Describing herself as "Dedicated" KC Duvall out of Winnett MT, is a Grass Range graduate. "I decided to enroll at DCC because I feel that going from a small school like mine with 3 in my graduating class, to a small college with a great academic reputation would be a terrific start for me."
The month of March tends to shape up as a busy one for Montana Campus Corps at Dawson Community College. This one is no exception to that rule. In addition to our normal service sites like Jefferson Elementary School, Boys and Girls Club and the Farm-to-Table Store, we will be working on several special projects this month.
Dawson Community College partners with Relay for Life as they hold pre-registration in the Glendive Medical Center-Carney Conference room March 4th from 2-4pm.

William Charles Harbort a.k.a. Billy Chuck is originally from New York where he worked as a commercial artist; a package designer for a major cosmetics company, an art director for a children's educational software company and an automotive magazine illustrator. Bill is currently a Professor in the art department at Minot State University. "Being a college professor has provided me the opportunity to explore.... my painting is driven by thoughts; commercial art, pop culture and bits of ephemera.
