Business Internship Opportunity at DCC

Dawson Community College is pleased to announce that Cross Petroleum of Glendive is offering a unique opportunity to students enrolled in the Associates of Applied Science or the Associates of Science Business Management degree program. 

CNA-Certified Nurse Assistant Training starts Feb 18

CNA training offered in collaboration with Glendive Medical Center.

Classes run from Feb 18th through March 12th. Certified Nursing Assistants, or CNAs, as they're more commonly called, play a highly significant part in the field of health care. Also known as patient care technicians, orderlies, and nurse's aides, these people provide an indispensable part of patient care. A Certified Nursing Assistant helps nurses in medical facilities by giving basic care to the patients, which is vital in hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes. The demand is high for qualified CNAs even in this time of global recession and economic failure.

Mary Birdwell Commits to the Bucs

Mary comes from a great high school program.

Dawson Community College Head Coach Jim LeProwse is pleased to announce that he has received a verbal commitment from Mary Birdwell out of Fergus County High School in Lewistown, Montana for the 2013-2014 season. She will graduate in 2013 and continue her education and softball careers at DCC.

Dawson to add pitcher Cassidy Chester from Park City, Utah

Cassidy will see a lot of time in the circle.

McKenzie Anderson and Haylee Hemmert both from Mountain Crest High School in Hyrum, Utah and Venessa Quintero from Box Elder High School in Brigham City, Utah. All three will graduate in 2013 and will continue their education and softball careers at DCC.
