Pastor Pete Bruno facilitated the creation-evolution debate on Feb. 24 at Dawson Community College. Over 190 people arrived to watch the hour and a half debate. There was so much interest in the event spectators were moved from the Ullman Center lecture hall to the Toepke Center Auditorium. Bruno said he was pleased with the turn out.
Mr. Darrin Clinton from the Creation Museum and Dr. Michael Booker, DCC History Professor, engaged in a lively debate over the two points of view.

Dawson Community College art students with a passion for art will exhibit their artwork during the month of March at The Gallery in downtown Glendive Montana. In addition, Jane Hart of Billings will have her popular rustic welded metal sculpture on display.

This March students as well as interested law enforcement professionals can take advantage of two weekend courses, Basic Drug Investigation and Basic Drug Surveillance. Offered through the Criminal Justice Law Enforcement program at Dawson Community College individuals are required to complete Basic Drug Investigation in order to take the second offering - Basic Drug Surveillance.
“Nest”, a mezzotint by Serbian printmaker Snezana Petrovic is one of the works included in the “International Mezzotint Exchange Exhibition” installed in Dawson Community College Gallery 126 from March 25 through May 9. Twenty-four mezzotint images, created by twenty-four artists from ten countries, are included in the exhibition. The artists are all members of the International Mezzotint Society (I.M.S.) and participated in the 2011 membership print exchange. Screen printing demystified. Visiting artist Linda Olson explains screen printing techniques to a full class during the February 9 workshop. Each participant had the opportunity to experience the complete printing process from stretching the screen, to applying, fixing, and printing multiples their original designs on both fabric and paper.
