Celebration of Research and Creativity will be the theme for the Dawson Community College Music Department’s spring performance Friday, April 19. The evening will commence in at 5 pm in the Toepke Center lobby with a reception sponsored by the Opus Society highlighting student research projects.
Ranging from the Renaissance to Music for Film and Television, projects will be in poster presentation format with students on tap to discuss their research. Following the reception, guests will move to the auditorium for recital performances of vocal and instrumental works, including the new vocal a cappella group, Aural Perception. Join DCC in celebrating student endeavors of critical thinking and creativity. This event is free of charge and sponsored by the Opus Society.
