The 72nd Commencement exercises will be held May 9, 2013 at 7pm in the Toepke Center on the Dawson Community College campus. Jane G. Baker, President of Dawson Community College, the Board of Trustees, faculty, staff and the Class of 2013 are proud to announce Paul Hopfauf, Vice President of Business Development for WBI Energy, as the keynote speaker for the 2013 exercises. “I believe in positive benefit of higher education and am delighted to address this class of graduates as they begin to navigate their future.” said Hopfauf. “I’m inspired by the civic engagement, and service leadership they exhibit and look forward to sharing commencement with the students and their families”.
After the Commencement, graduates, families and friends are invited to a reception honoring the Dawson Community College Class of 2013 which will be hosted by the American Association of University Women (AAUW) in the Toepke foyer.
About the speaker: Hopfauf began his career with WBI Energy in 1992. He held positions of increasing responsibility in financial planning and business development prior to leading the company’s non-regulated natural gas gathering business. In his current position, Hopfauf is responsible for all the business development activities at the WBI Energy group of companies.
A native of Glendive, Mont., Hopfauf holds a bachelors degree in business administration from the University of Montana and an M.B.A. and Masters in Management from the University of Mary.
