PEC Basic Orientation Safety Awareness Course for oil and gas field workers includes both SafeGulf and SafeLand USA safety training. This one-day training session takes the place of multiple Operator orientations. It provides each student a general idea of life and safety issues in the oil and gas industry, upstream, downstream, onshore or offshore.

PEC Basic meets API RP 75 & API RP T-1 requirements. It provides safety information that an employee should know before entering a company facility and while performing their assigned work duties. The orientation meets the requirements of over twenty-five of the leading oil and gas operators and is the industry standard.

Upon successful completion, each student will receive picture ID containing a unique barcode. Records stored in an online database.

Class will take place on the Dawson Community College campus in the Community Room - Main Building, between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on October 16cth. The cost of the one-day course is $200.
