Tickets for the twenty-first annual Dawson Community College Madrigal Dinner are on sale now at the DCC business office. The Madrigal Dinner will be held in the Toepke Center Lobby on December 7. Transformed into the Renaissance castle, doors open at 5:30 p.m. with feasting and festivities commencing at 6. Characters will delight castle guests with vocal and instrumental music, jesters, jugglers, actors, and dancers. Time honored processions featuring Wassail, Boar’s Head, and Flaming Pudding transport the audience throughout the evening. Guided by the Jester and Merton, Lord of Misrule, each guest will play a role in their given kingdom.
Students from Glendive, Sidney, Circle, Hardin, Ekalaka, Baker, Conrad, Helena, Fairview, Savage, Hamilton, Jordan, Roberts, North Dakota, South Dakota and Utah are preparing for this magical production. Community, staff, faculty, administration, and alumni contribute to the production, making the Madrigal Dinner a true community event.
