The DCC Rodeo Team competes in the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association's Big Sky Region. The Big Sky Region is made up of thirteen colleges and universities from Montana and Wyoming.

The Lady Bucs Volleyball team served up a winner Monday night. They prepared and served the weekly meal for the community supper. Working in conjunction with the Dawson County Food Bank and the Assembly of God Church, the players prepared a complete meal. Using a family recipe, the team made Taco Soup, green salad and dinner rolls. This was all topped off with cookies and brownies for dessert.
Hopa Mountain in cooperation with MT Campus Corps at Dawson Community College will present a workshop, “Creating Boards that Lead: A Discourse on Nonprofit Board Development, Board Operations and Responsibilities” on Thursday, May 5 in Glendive. Thursday’s session will be held at the Dawson Community College Toepke Center Auditorium from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and will cost $10 for each participant.

Dawson Community College Buccaneers softball coach Jim LeProwse is pleased to announce that Shandy Holm has signed a national letter of intent for the upcoming 2011-2012 season. From Butte, Montana, Holm stands 5-9. This season, Holm plays catcher for the Butte High School Bulldogs. According to Coach LeProwse, “Shandy comes from a strong softball program at Butte High School.”
On Monday, April 18th at 3:30 p.m. there will be a reception to commemorate the unveiling of three wonderful paintings created by the DCC Art Club to enhance the décor of the Dawson Community College Student Center and Cafeteria. Please join us for viewing, socializing and refreshments. This event is sponsored by the ASB senate.
In five games last week the DCC Freshman outfielder was 7-14 (.500) at the plate. His hitting included a double, a triple and a home run. Hedin also scored 6 runs and had three RBI's. His home town is Logan, Utah.
The Dawson Community College Art Department is proud to present the outstanding art works of the talented and creative student artists of Dawson Community College. Forty-nine students will be exhibiting their artwork in the Dawson Community College Annual 2011 Spring Juried Student Art Show.
