Adjunct Faculty

Adjunct instructors are being assembled by Dawson Community College for the next academic year. Individuals holding an appropriate Master’s degree from an accredited college who are interested in teaching courses within various transfer programs offered at DCC are welcome to apply. 

Those with specialized credentials in the trades or vocational areas are also needed. Qualifications necessary for instructing Career and Technical courses at DCC are available from the Dean of Instruction. 

Adjunct instructors are responsible for meeting class sessions as assigned, developing & presenting appropriate curriculum plans & evaluation tools, and working with students as needed outside of class meetings.

Please send the following:

•  A cover letter indicating the area(s) or course(s) that you are interested in teaching
•  A current, comprehensive resume
•  A completed DCC Employment Application form
•  A signed Employment Credential Verification form
• Transcripts from all colleges or universities you have attended. (Copies of transcripts are acceptable now; however, official transcripts will be required at time of employment offer). Only transcripts from accredited colleges or universities will be used for employment considerations.
