Dawson Community College seeks an experienced and visionary line administrator to plan and guide the integration of instruction, student services, and student support to promote retention, completion and a quality student experience. With direction from the President, the Vice President of Instruction and Student Services guides the management and integrity of the student experience from recruitment to completion.
This is a contract, 12 month per year position that reports directly to the President of the College.

Salary: $80,000 plus benefits

Required Education and Experience: The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following:
• Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution in a discipline related to student affairs or instruction;
• Experience as a college-level instructor.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an academic or student services administrator at a comprehensive community college or university, at the dean level or above.
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and review, program development a implementations, student needs assessment, establishment and evaluation of student leaning outcomes, development and implementation of an Academic Master Plan, and the development of innovative student services programs.
• Demonstrated experience and in-depth knowledge of the policies and requirements of NWCCU accreditation agency (or other regional accreditation agency) and the Montana Board of Regents (or other state commission).
• Demonstrated skill in fostering excellence in teaching and learning.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of email, word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, and use of the Internet to access data, maintain records, generate reports, and communicate with others.
Preferred Education and Experience: Preference will be given to those candidates who meet all of the minimum qualifications plus the following:
• Earned Doctorate from an accredited institution in liberal arts or higher education administration.
• Administrative experience as a Vice President of Instruction and/or Student Services.
