Is Online Learning for Me?

Online courses may be more convenient than having to go to a campus to take classes; however, they are not any easier and they require just as much study time. Additionally, you'll be learning on your own. No one will be around to remind you to take part in online discussions, to hand in assignments on time, or to study for a test instead of going out with your family or friends. It's all up to you!

Dawson Online

Summer registration is under way through May 29th. Please click here for the summer schedule offerings. Classes begin June 2 and last ten weeks. Each credit is $136.40 per credit with a $30 per course fee. Financial aid is available.

Dawson Courses and Degrees Online
Dawson Community College is a member of the CCCOnline consortium. CCCOnline courses have been specifically designed for internet delivery. Instructors are experienced in supporting online students through the internet learning experience. Through CCCOnline, students have regular communication with faculty, and with fellow students who may be anywhere in the world.

How do I register?
Degree Seeking Students NEW to Dawson complete an admission application by going to: dawson.edu/studentserv/admissions/application.pdf Print, complete application and mail to DCC with the $30 application fee.

Course Registration:
dawson.edu/studentserv/admissions/enroll.pdf Print form and then fax: 406-377-8132. Upon receipt of the registration form DCC will enroll the student with CCCOnline. The student will then receive their PIN number via email for accessing the course.

Are there other costs associated with taking online courses?
Cost of textbooks vary dependent on course(s). Books can be ordered by going to http://bookstore.mbsdirect.net/ccconline.htm. Books are delivered to the student’s mailing address.

DCC is pleased to offer short term continuing education courses online. Each course runs for six weeks with twelve self-paced lessons. Interactive quizzes, assignments, tutorials, and online discussion areas supplement the lessons.

How do I register?

2. Pay by credit card online - each course is only $75

3. Each course begins on the third Wednesday of each month with registration accepted the day of.
