This morning started off with a quick course of the Chinese culture, do's and don'ts, hello, thank you... Some don'ts include tipping. It's considered rude, and don't tell that person wearing that pretty dress, "Oh! I like your dress..." They will find you odd, and wonder what you want with them.
After a "crash course" in Chinese, we went on to form groups and develop some hypotheses on hatching windows, nest clustures, paleoenvironment. Afterwards, we went to the Burns Center and were taught how to create a eductioncational powerpoint type presentation. Keep an eye out on the MSU website!
Off to Shanghai tomorrow ;) It's a 13+ hour flight from San Fransisco.
