The Red Lodge Area Community Foundation aims to capture permanent assets to fund community needs now and into the future, financially support areas of priority and need within the community in a responsive way, and create relationships which facilitate the opportunity to respond quickly, and engage diverse stakeholders to discuss important topics. The foundation does this by expanding the capacity of organizations within the area which support the creation of economic opportunity and support those is need in Carbon County.
The VISTA will support veterans in the community by building capacity for the five main Veteran service organizations in the Red Lodge Area. This will be accomplished through the completion of a needs analysis of veterans in the area and a assessment of the services currently offered followed by the development of a strategic planned aimed at identifying ways to fill the gaps in services. The VISTA will also assist the veterans organizations in resource development which will allow them to better support veterans in the area by increasing the scope of their services.
