Mitchell’s Oil Field Service, Inc. of Sidney home of Roustabouts, Cranes, Rig Up Tandems and Trenching has made a generous donation of 5 diesel truck engines to the Dawson Community College Ag Mechanics program.
Chad Peplinski, Ag Power and Mechanics instructor at Dawson has received four Cummins Big Cam engines and one Detroit Diesel this month from Mitchell’s. “This will be great for training purposes.” said Peplinski “Vocational students will be able to tear them down and get some good hands-on experience with engines that are an industry standard”.
Mitchell’s Oil Field Service, Inc. is a construction and trucking company, serving the oil and gas industry in the Williston Basin of Montana and North Dakota. Formed in 1977, MOFS is headquartered in Sidney, Montana and has offices in both Glendive and Baker.
The college administration along with the instructors say ‘Thank you’ to Mitchell’s Oil Field Service, Inc. for giving our students a gift of knowledge and experience that will come as they work on these engines.
