GLENDIVE, MONTANA- Dawson Community College will be offering 2 QuickBooks 2009 workshops for both beginners and advanced users on May 15th and 16th. These are one day workshops that are designed to get people started or update skills so they can save time and money using the enhanced software features new to this version.
New features include a real-time business overview with a company snapshot. The QB user can see which customers owe money, which bills need to be paid, and other important reminders all on one screen.
A second new feature enables business owners to reach out and grow their customer base with easy-to-use website creation tools and free website hosting.
QuickBooks 2009 also introduces a Live Community feature that lets the user ask and get answers from other QuickBooks users while using QuickBooks 2009.
There have also been improvements made to QuickBooks online banking that allow users to easily download transactions from a bank account or credit card directly into QuickBooks 2009. As a result a complete financial picture is rendered of cleared bank transactions and pending QuickBooks transactions.
The cost for each of these workshops is $75 or $125 for both days.
