Dawson Community College volleyball has added a setters’ specialty camp to its summer offerings.
Setters’ camp is set for July 13 and 14 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the DCC Toepke Center. Both middle school and high school age players are encouraged to participate, sharpening their skills in a setter-focused environment. “Setting camp is a great opportunity to spend time focused on setting,” said John Marble, DCC volleyball coach. Cost is $25.
DCC has overall skills camps scheduled in July as well. For middle school players, the fundamentals camp is scheduled for July 13 and 14 at the Toepke Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day with a one-hour break at noon. Cost is $65 and includes a DCC camp t-shirt.
High school fundamentals camp is set for July 29-31 at the Toepke Center from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. Cost is $85 and includes a t-shirt.
A high school team camp is set for the same days, running in the afternoons. Cost is $250 per team.
